Transportation

Location: Ceta Canyon (Map & Directions Below)


Bus: We will meet in the parking lot next to Jones Stadium from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m.


Buses leave at 1:00p.m.


Check in at Ceta is from 3:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. for ALL transportation options.


Buses will arrive back to Tech by 12:30p.m. on August 21st



Transportation Options
  • Take Our Bus: Take our bus from Lubbock to Ceta Canyon and return back to campus on our bus. (Please plan on taking our bus to and back from camp!)


  • Airport Shuttle: Fly into Lubbock on Wednesday morning and we will come pick you up at the airport. Look for some crazy people at baggage!


  • Need a Place to stay?: If you need a place to stay a day or two before camp email us and we can get you set up with some temporary housing.


  • On Campus Parking: If you are taking our bus, we will be parking in the Jones Stadium Parking Lot. The parking lot will be monitored by Campus Police to ensure the safety of items within your car.
  • Drive Yourself: Drive yourself to Ceta Canyon.


  • Parents Drop Off: Let your parents drop you off at camp. You can choose to have your parents pick you up or you can check on your registration that you would like to ride the bus back to campus with all your new amazing friends.


  • Bus Options: The bus ride from Lubbock to Camp and back complimentrary and optional. On your registration you have the option of choosing (a)if you need a ride to and from camp, (b)if you need a ride only from Lubbock to Camp, (c)or if you need a ride only from Camp back to Lubbock. Riding the bus is a great way to get to know people and to continue to build relationships started at camp.

    Directions to Camp


    From Amarillo (North)
    Take I-27 south to exit #94 toward Wayside.  Go east (left) on FM 285 for 8 miles until you see signs for the camp.  Go north 2.5 miles into the camp.  (Office is accross from the mailboxes)

    From Lubbock (South)
    Take I-27 north to exit #94 toward Wayside.  Go east (right) on FM 285 for 8 miles until you see signs for the camp.  Go north 2.5 miles into the camp.  (Office is accross from the mailboxes)

    From Vernon (East)
    From US-287 take US-86 west. Follow the signs to TX-207 and head North.  Go west on FM 285 past Wayside until you see signs for the camp.  Go north on FM 1721 2.5 miles into the camp.  (Office is accross from the mailboxes)
