If you're like our parents, sending your kids to Texas Tech can bring a wide range of emotions. We understand many of the worries and concerns that can go along with your son or daughter leaving home to become a Red Raider. There are 86 of us on staff, and we are all students that only recently came to Lubbock to experience life away from home ourselves. Enter Foundation. For four days before school begins in the fall, let your son or daughter come hear from us how to live for Christ at Tech. They can also get answers to their college questions from fellow believers who know the ropes here. Foundation Retreat is a wonderful way to build relationships, find community, and start the next four years on the solid rock of Christ.

If you're looking for a way to be involved, we really need your prayers. Here are some specific things we would appreciate you praying for:

• That God would send missional students to Tech who will continue to reach out for Him
• For safety while we are at retreat, and for safety while we travel to and from Lubbock
• That God would give us unity and provide supernatural relationship building between us
